WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SAVED?

Hello beautiful people😊😊🕺🕺💃💃. I am glad to be back🕺🕺💃💃.

Written by EKLEKTOS.

People question their Faith about being Saved and some don’t understand the topic itself. However, the topic is very broad, let’s see through it together and we pray our eyes of understanding is enlightened. AMEN 😊

What does it mean to be Saved?👍
Genesis 1:26-28
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea… So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion … upon the earth.

From the very beginning of the world, this is the true nature of Man. Man was a real image of God, Man has dominion, Man lives in God presence, Man speaks to God, God hears him and reply in conversation. No wonder Adam was able to give names to all the animals brought before him without a mix-up (Gen 1:19-20)

In Genesis 3,
This recorded how the serpent persuaded Eve to take of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 3:1-5) and despite been instructed by God that if they take of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they shall surely die (Gen 2:16-17) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Then, what is this death about?👍
Gen 3:8, 24
8: And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
24: So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
So the death was a separation between God and Man. Thus, Man left God presence

So, Did Adam and Eve died physically? NO
Did Adam and Eve leave the presence of God? YES

What led to this? 👍
Gen 2:16-17
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it…
It is simply the consequences of disobedience to God’s word which led Adam and Eve to make a wrong Choice. Of every tree of the Garden represent Life, and of the other tree represent Death. Adam and Eve choose Death
Yet God made a promise to reconcile man back to Himself
Gen 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
And how He will accomplish this wasn’t clear to us all, until the light came

Let’s take a quick grasp of details from book of Leviticus. The book itself contains a load of information about the giving of sacrifices and offering for atonement of sins
Leviticus 16:1-34
34: And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

However, several of the Prophets prophesied as been inspired of God about how God will blot out the sin of Man, how a Child, a King will be born, who will take the judgement of the world upon himself, and will die for the sins of man.

Isaiah9:6-7
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful… Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end … and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Matthew 1:21-23
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins…that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying…Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Then to what extent was this done, for what reason?
So that man can be saved, man can receive eternal life. Man can receive the promises of God, so that man can be reconciled to God and the separation between man and God can be removed.

Hebrews 1:1-3
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

This means, in this dispensation of time, there is no other person instruction or sacrifice we follow, except of Jesus, because that is God who came in flesh to take away the sin of man.
If man could deal with his sins himself, then there wouldn’t be need for God but man was helpless

So, how did God achieve this? 😊
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 5:8-21
18: Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Through the obedience of Jesus, He gave us Righteousness.

Romans 10:9-11
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
So, the death and resurrection of Jesus brought us Salvation.

So, when we confess Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, this is what we are confessing, we are confessing that He died for you and me, He resurrected on the 3rd day, He entered into the holy place to make perfect atonement for our sins standing before God and He did this for you and me once and for all, no more sacrifices as of the old testament, thus we are in new dispensation of time; I mean you and I.

You are declaring the promises upon your life, and your will to align with His will. You and I have been delivered from darkness and curses and have been translated into light, the Kingdom of His dear son (Col 1:13). That you and I can manifest the works of Jesus, and we can be called Sons of God (Gal 4:6)

Hebrews 7:25-27
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Hebrews 10:16-21
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus…And having an high priest over the house of God

2Cor.5:17-21
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Hallelujah! AMEN
