Heyo my people!😃😃💃💃💃. Trust me, I am so glad to share my thoughts with you once again.😊😊
Well today, I’m going to talk about gratitude, the Merriam Webster’s dictionary defines gratitude as “a feeling of appreciation or giving thanks”
Psychologists state that gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what an individual receives, whether tangible or intangible. Psychologists further state that according to research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. See (www.health.harvard.edu)
The Bible talks a lot about gratitude, this is very evident in the book of Psalms and also in the epistles where Apostle Paul talked about giving thanks to God.
You know I love the book of Psalms; David is so much fun you know, He sang, danced and played musical instruments to give God praise. My Father in the Lord; Daddy G.O. once made me understand from the scripture that David was actually a man after God’s heart because he constantly praised God. Let’s just see Psalms 103: 1-22; I will quote the first five verses;
Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy disease.
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
PSALMS 103:1-5
You know I also love Psalms 106; David praised God, he talked about the tender mercies of God.
Truth is that, but for the mercies of God, we could have been consumed. If God chooses to reward us according to our unstable behaviours and attitudes at times, we will probably be no where to be found. Yet our God gives us another chance each day to wake up and shine forth his light all around. We certainly need to thank God for salvation, also because he is good and his mercies endureth forever.
Even psychologists believe that gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. This is actually not far fetched. Gratitude is a social emotion; it triggers joy and most importantly according to the scriptures, it triggers more blessings from God.
You know, check it, when people are grateful to you for what you have done for them, you will just feel the need to do much more for them because they appreciate your kind gesture. How much more our God?
So today, I enjoin you to be grateful, look at 2020 in retrospect, thank God you are alive, thank him for people he brought your way to help you in 2020, show gratitude to God. You can be sure it will trigger joy in your heart and blessings from God😊😊😊💃💃💃.

Thank you Jesus!🙌

Good stuff.
Usually when we appreciate people for what they do, they would always want to do more when and if they can.
Gratitude opens endless doors of tremendous possibilities. All things are possible to the man who says “thank you” always. Indeed THANK YOU is a magic word.
